Do you have the classic square Yamaha gauges that always fade, crack and look worse and worse over time? We’ve made a durable starboard cover to pop right over the gauges! Cut from 1/2″ thick King Starboard, pocketed to accept the gauge face and cut with such a tight tolerance to fit snug enough to stay on but loose enough to not pull off the snap on trim ring. This gauge cover is approximately 5 3/4″ x 4.5″.
Designed to fit CL5 Yamaha gauges snuggly with no worries of the cover cracking, or drying out.
We build these from King Starboard, not from thermoplastics which can yellow or loose shape over time. This isn’t built from PVC which can be brittle.
Why Starboard over TPU???
A TPU case yellows when exposed to sunlight, heat or certain chemicals. This process is caused by natural chemical degradation and is irreversible, you also can’t get rid of the yellowing by bleaching it. Our King Starboard is marine proven and fits very snugly on the gauge. The rigidness helps with protect the gauge and will maintain its clean look over time. King Starboard isn’t as easy to machine but we take the time to get the fitment right and make sure these covers will fit perfectly and keep you gauges protected.
