Sportsman 282 Open Livewell Lid Replacement

Description

This is a Sportsman 282 Open Livewell Lid Replacement and is made with clear acrylic.  For live wells, most customers like being able to see inside the well and to keep an eye on their bait. This ensures that the bait stays as fresh as possible. If your acrylic or fiberglass lid has become worn, scratched, hazy or is just in need of some fun personalization, let us help with this replacement. They are strong enough to stand on and use the same hinge and latch hardware from your original lid.

These lids can be engraved with the “Sportsman” logo or any custom idea you may have. Engraving will be done on the backside (traditional). Alternatively, engraving be done on the surface (for a non-skid effect). We will default engrave on the backside. Please specify if you would prefer surface engraving at check out. Surface engrave works the best for full lid engraving as it both covers up the gasket groove cut into the backside and the pattern also won’t be broken up by the gasket which is cut into the lid.  We can use an existing design or create a design or pattern that you may like. We’ve done honey comb or diamond patterns to match existing fabric that customers have had on their cushions. We can also engrave in a logo or boat name as well.

This Sportsman 282 Open Livewell Lid Replacement may also fit the Sportsman 252 open.  If your Sportsman has the half moon shaped lid there is a good chance it will fit.  Give us a call or send us an email so we can go over some of the details.  If you have the leaning post livewell shaped as the “half moon” this lid should also fit that as well.
